Amie Practice Manager, CVT
Amie is a native Wisconsinite and spent her first 8 years in the veterinary industry as a CVT working in veterinary practice- both general practice, ER and Specialty. She lived and worked in New Jersey for 11 years as a technician and a practice manager and finally settled with her Husband, 2 cats (Charlie and Martini) and one dog (Louie) to live in sunny Florida 10 years ago. Her favorite part of the job is fostering a collaborative environment where her team can thrive. She loves working with clients and their fur babies to create that special human-animal bond and to help provide the best care to them.
She enjoys spending time with her fur babies and husband and going out to eat as she is a self-proclaimed “foodie”. She also loves watching NFL football- rooting on the Green Bay Packers!
Veterinarians
Dr. Ariel Heiman DVM
Dr. Ariel Heiman earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Although she enjoyed her time in Massachusetts, the endless sun, beaches, and her family brought her back to Florida to practice full time. As a relief veterinarian, she is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets and partnering with their human companions to help them live happy, healthy lives. She is always committed to making every visit as comfortable and positive as possible. Outside of work, Dr. Heiman enjoys traveling, yoga, watching films, and spending time with her cat, Aang.
Dr. Jenny Dakin DVM
Dr. Jenny Dakin is a veterinarian serving the Sarasota, Florida community where she was born and raised. She graduated with honors from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020, with a focus on both companion animals and farm animals.
Since returning to her hometown, Dr. Dakin has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to pets in the Sarasota area as a relief veterinarian. While she enjoys all aspects of animal medicine, she has developed a particular interest in veterinary dermatology and enjoys working through challenging skin and allergy cases to improve the comfort and quality of life of her patients.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Dakin enjoys spending time outdoors, working around the farm, and making memories with her family and her two french bulldogs.
